MUNCY MACHINE & TOOL:
Muncy Machine & Tool Co., Inc. is the successor to Muncy Machine & Repair Company, founded in 1949 by Charles J. Kunz. The business originally occupied a building situated near
Muncy, Pennsylvania. In addition to general repair work, the company began machining parts for J&L Wire Rope in Muncy and Bethlehem Steel, Williamsport, Pennsylvania. The products of the company included swage buttons, threaded studs, spelter sockets and machining of a wide variety of wire rope fittings. Service was expanded over the years to other companies in the wire rope industry. In 1963, the business was sold to James R, Fetter Jr. and Carol Fetter, grandchildren of the owner. The partnership sold the business to James R.
Fetter Jr. on January 1, 1976 who became the president of the company. In December 1977 the company moved to its current location near
Turbotville, Pennsylvania which consists of a manufacturing plant and office complex. Current market includes all of the United States, Canada, Asia, Mexico, Brazil, Austrailia and Europe. We have entered the global market!
THE UPSON-WALTON COMPANY:
Founded in 1871 as a ship chandler supplying ships on the great lakes, The Upson-Walton Company became one of the nation’s leading manufacturers and suppliers of wire rope fittings. The company was purchased by Ophelia Fetter in 1986 & moved to its current location in Turbotville, Pennsylvania. The swage socket line was retained and over the years stainless steel swage sockets, self colored & carbon steel sleeves, fork terminals, pin eye terminals, boom pendants, aluminum swage sleeves, aluminum buttons, one-piece carbon steel turnback sleeves, two-piece carbon steel duplex sleeves, carbon steel zinc plated thimbles, and dynamometers were added. We have entered the global market as well!

All shipments of MMT and /or UW catalog products are F.O.B. shipping point. Free shipping on standard product shipments over
$3,500 at the lowest
L.T.L. rate to any recognized common carrier point in the continental United States. On freight allowed shipments to Alaska or Hawaii allowance will be based on Continental Border. Ontario & Quebec will receive 50/50 split on freight costs on standard orders over $3,500) All other provinces will be 50/50 split on freight costs on standard orders over $7,000.
WARRANTY
Muncy Machine and Tool Company and Upson-Walton Company products are
guaranteed free from defects in workmanship at time of shipment to Purchaser.
